Washington University in St. Louis is not only a founding partner of Cortex, but is a national leader in sustainability. Cortex has partnered with the Washington University Sustainability Program and holds similar sustainability objectives through the Sustainability Action Plan. The Cortex District has been utilized as a learning laboratory for Washington University Sustainability students to gain real-world, hands-on research utilizing our space as a living laboratory.
