Cortex’s Commitment to Sustainability
We strive for Cortex to serve as a sustainability leader in the St. Louis region and for innovation districts across the globe.
Cortex has been working with board members, key regional partners and city-wide stakeholders to create a Sustainability Action Plan that improves the health of our environment and community.
Since 2021, Cortex has been consulting with CannonDesign, an expert in sustainable design and climate action, to develop a district-wide sustainability plan. Our core strategy focuses on supporting and partnering with several regional sustainability organizations to:
- Enhance our partners’ goals and objectives
- Adopt and implement their successful programs
- Use our 200 acres as a hub for innovation and a testing ground for new technologies
